Great cottage and perfect location. Furniture is upgraded from what is shown on the VRBO site. Plenty of towels and well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay there again

Cute, cozy, affordable

Blue Star Motel in Douglas was absolutely perfect for our anniversary trip. The room was adorable as described and the property is cute and clean. We walked to everything but the beach and loved the hospitality. We will definitely be back!

A great stay but....

The accommodations were wonderful. Lots of community space to enjoy and the rooms was clean and comfortable. I will say that the requirement that we empty our own garbage and strip our bed was off-putting, given this was advertised as a boutique destination.

Swingbridge 40 -Perfect Summer Stay

We loved our stay in Saugatuck/Douglas at Swingbridge 40. It has so much room for a mid-sized party. It’s perfectly located close to food, shopping, and the beach locations. The view is spectacular. This was our 7th summer in this rental, and it has never disappointed. It is always incredibly clean and inviting! Thank you for the stay!
